We have been investigating magnetic and non magnetic materials!
To celebrate well-being Wednesday this week, we became INVENTORS! We got to invent a theme/water park. Every design was super creative!
We have been drafting, editing and improving our writing this week, before we publish our final pieces.
The children worked so well in their learning partners, giving each other feedback linked to our top tips/success criteria.
In Hazel Class, we have a new worry box and we have made our own worry dolls.
We discussed what we can do if we are feeling worried, who can help us and who we can go to who we trust.
To celebrate such an important day, we learnt about an AMAZING female scientist, Katherine Johnson.
If you donโt know about her, research her! We learnt about her life and the impact she has had. ๐ ๐
In maths, we have been exploring measurement.
We have been learning about mm, cm, m and which unit is best to measure different things in.
We kept it practical, measuring real items inside and outdoors (the rain didnโt stop us!)
Welcome back, Hazel Class!
For well-being Wednesday this week, we got to work creating trains from our previous design work.
They were made for a purpose, whilst being constructed from recycling. Toys that save the planet! ๐
