Hedgehog Hunt
This morning, Hazel Class have been on a hedgehog habitat hunt. We searched around the HRAP for potential hedgehog habitats and found some definite signs of hedgehog life!
International Mud Day
After lunch, we experimented with different textures of mud. We mixed, splatted and painted some beautiful artwork.
International Mud Day
Our final task before lunch was to revamp the garden. We’ve weeded, raked, planted and hoed the soil and it is now looking much better!
International Mud Day
Now we’re making muddy faces out of water, mud and natural materials. We are feeling very tribal!
International Mud Day!
Today is International Mud Day and we’re going to be super busy! We’ll update you throughout the day but Hazel Class’ day began with an exploratory lesson in Forest School. Here’s some pictures!
Climbing wall
We are the bravest children in the whole school. Look how high we climbed! We were pushed out of our comfort zone and had so much fun!
Hedgehog challenge
Today, Miss Harrison gave us the challenge of getting hedgehogs to live in our Forest School area. We spent the whole morning researching all about them to become experts including their habitats and diet. This afternoon we started building our hedgehog homes. They are not finished just yet, but we will keep you updated with their progress. Hopefully, some little hedgehogs will make them their homes!
Transition Week
We have really enjoyed Transition Week and we can’t wait to start in the new Hazel Class in September!
All About Me!
Our “All About Me!” Transition Week started with a Maths lesson where we measured our bodies using different objects.
