Today we built an Easter Sunday scene where Jesus’ body disappeared from the tomb. We used natural materials and worked in pairs. Here’s some of our work.

This week in Hazel class we have been learning about the Easter story. We discussed the 4 key events that happen and shared how it makes us feel. The children then took on the role of being Mary. They took turns asking each other questions and did a fantastic job at acting out the role.

We enjoyed constructing famous British landmarks in big idea this week

We have had such a wonderful time this morning at the Key to Life Bus. We learnt all about the life of Jesus.

We enjoyed going up to Forest School this afternoon to sketch around the pond. We noticed new frogspawn and tadpoles alongside new plants and wildlife. 

We started a new unit in English today. We watched a video called ‘Catch it!’ where an evil vulture stole a pack of baby meerkat’s favourite fruit. We created an internal monologue where we thought about using questions marks and exclamation marks. Here’s some of our work.
